Livery Coach Livery-to-Livery Network Setup

In order to enable your Livery Coach system to be able to electronically send and receive trips to/from other companies running Livery, you must follow the instructions below.

The Livery Network Servers (hub.liverycoach.com) have an IP address range of 198.99.138.0/24 (actual addresses 198.99.138.1-198.99.138.255).  The Livery Network sends and receives traffic on ports 80, 443, 1433, 9300; and receives traffic on port 9350.

Your firewall or router must be configured to allow traffic on these ports FROM this static address to the machine in your network that runs your Livery Coach Interchange Server (“lccomm”).

Please let the Livery Coach team know what your public IP is, so that we configure the hub.  (Simply send an email to support@liverycoach.com).  If you do not know what your public IP is, you can figure it out by opening a web browser and navigating to the address www.ipchicken.com .  Please note that if you are not paying your internet provider for a static IP address, this address might change now and then (particularly if your cable modem reboots, or after a power outage).  If so, please update us with your new IP or it will inhibit Livery to Livery traffic.

Sender Setup

Launch Livery Coach, and navigate to Setup…Maintain…Agreements…Farm In/Out Only

You will see this screen.

Search for the Farm Company you are looking for, and click on the name.

 Description: SNAGHTML1144438f

Put in the Livery Coach Affiliate Customer Code in ID/CustCode field.  If you don’t know the code, click on the box with the three dots to the right of the field.

You also need to enter an Effective Date (start date) and an end date (the “To:”) field.  Once the date in the To: field passes, you will not be able to farm to this affiliate.

Then check the Farm-In and/or Farm-Out boxes as appropriate.

For Farm-In, then click on the Livery Network tab, select the customer ID (what Customer (booker) profile you want the system to select when a trip comes in), and also select Livery Network as the Provider.  Also decide how much notice you need to accept trips electronically.  For example, if you will accept trips up to 2 hours before the pickup date/time, enter “120” in this field (as shown in the screen shot).

For Farm-Out, use the lower right box, click on the Livery Network tab, and select LiveryNetwork for the IP. Port 9300 is a “hardwired” entry.  (Leave the password field blank.)

Click on Update Button to save your settings

Now, you need to map your vehicle types with your affiliate’s vehicle types, so that when you send out a trip electronically through the system, it knows how to make the translation.

Under Farm-Out Agreement, click on the Vehicles tab.  Then, click on Get List.

You will get a warning that performing this function will erase the current vehicle mapping.  Since you don’t currently have vehicle mapping for this affiliate, click Yes.

After a few minutes, the right column should populate with the list of vehicle types from that affiliate.  Now, all you have to do is click on your vehicle type on the left, the affiliate’s matching vehicle type on the right, and click on the “Map” button.  (Clicking on the “UnMap” button removes the mapping.  For example, the below mapping will map “SUV 6” on your side to “SUV” on the affiliate’s side.

Once you have finished, click on the Update button AT THE BOTTOM OF THE AGREEMENT to save your settings.

Now you need to close out of Livery Coach and re-launch the program for these changes to take effect.

Now, when you right-click on a farmed-out trip for which you have set up an agreement, you will see “Send” or “Send Update” (if it has already been sent once).  Within a few minutes you will see a message “Transaction accepted for delivery” (or, if something went wrong, an error message).  You know this worked when you see the affiliate’s trip number in the “Farm Res #” column or in the trip.
